Most public hospitals in developing countries are pretty bad.

I would sure as hell hate to go to a public psychiatric hospital in most countries in Africa.

I think that could define the definition of " pure hell "

That looks like a horrible place @anon70049667 but the room I stayed in was worse.
The conditions were horrible!

How that’s possible in US?

Yes it’s possible and it’s a private hospital too.

Shitt I thought we’re worst.

Come see some of the hospitals in Africa and you will cringe

Ya I live in South Africa.

South Africa is actually well developed compared to most countries in Africa.

So one can only imagine what happens to mentally ill patients in other African countries.

NOB. Otherwise known as Stanford University Psyche ward in California, U.S.A.
Years before I went in I used to hear the cute girls in the group home talk all the time about being admitted to “NOB”. Everybody would ask what “NOB” meant. The cute girls said, “Not Out Banging”.

During my crack-stress-psychotic-induced relapse in '88 I got admitted to Stanford
Psyche ward. Sure enough, on the thick, grey entrance door it said in big, block letters, “NOB”. When I asked the nurse what the letters stood for it was kind of anti-climatic. She said it meant, North Wing -0-Level Basement.
