My strange addiction

sorry for my bad english but im french. Not to long ago i started the patch to help me quit smoking cigarette because i was diagnose with pneumonia or something like that . i realized that the patch made me dream a lot and i LOVE dreaming this night i had about 5-6 dreams. I can’t emphasis on how much I love dreaming. So my question is can i keep putting my patch on even when the treatment is over ? im ready to pay 70$ only for the dream. Is there any danger being addicted to it? I dont even have that big of a craving for cigarette

So my question is can i get sick if lets say i used for the rest of my life. Thank you in advance for your answer

That’s crazy! And something I actually am now considering, because I love to dream! I’m sorry I’m no help with your question though. But I feel like you can keep using it… I don’t know why not! Either way it’s putting not so good chemicals in your body. Whichever way you decide to do it!

You’ll be fine even if you use then for the rest of your life. Nicotine is harmless if you don’t count the fact that it’s addictive. When you smoke the slightly radioactive tar sticks to your lungs and raises cancer risk dramatically, with patches there is no tar obviously.

If you don’t believe me then there’s this article I found with a brief search:

you might want to consider that it is the lack of excessive nicotine from smoking that is allowing you to sleep deeper and dream more…

Now don’t be surprised if the brain adjusts and you lose those dreams whether you stay on the patch or come off it and continue to dream for a while.

I’ll have dreams for weeks on end at times… then oppositely weeks without dreams (that I recall)…

There are likely other more mentally/physically healthy ways to induce deep sleep and encourage dreaming. I don’t know of any but I’m sure it’d be different for everyone anyways.

Sleep aids typically give me high ainx type sleep… but it seems some people sleep quite well on them.

I’ve had some fantastic dreams in the past. Lucid ones that had me travelling through time and ■■■■… but I ran into my limit of what I could consciously change about the dreams… then I’d wind up waking myself up. It’s like being choked or having a mental claustrophobia when that happens…

Any case good luck on your quest here. I can only suggest that you get off the patch and stay away from smokes to see what happens.
