My sister bought me a rebounder

She had me try hers yesterday to see if I liked it. Then she taught me to do something on it that would activate my lymph system. Then today she asked me what I thought about it and I said it was fun and I was thinking about getting one in September. She offered to buy one for me and said I could pay her back a little at a time whenever I wanted. She said she’s really worried about me right now with all the infections I keep getting and thinks this would be really good for me and doesn’t want me to wait. I’m pretty excited, it will be nice to have something fun to do to get me moving.

Looks cool! It’s great that you have the motivation to do this.

Thank you @Drake . I have some other workout equipment I can’t seem to get motivated to do. I’m hoping because this is new and fun I’ll do it.

Very cool @Leaf … Any exercise is good. Just start small and keep it regular.

That’s great @Leaf!
Seems like a lot of fun!

I personally would have a hard time standing up on it but I’m glad it works out for you

It has a nice stabilizing bar to hold onto. It helps you balance. Because I’m like you, I would probably tip over otherwise.

I couldn’t do it, but I’m glad you’re going to give it a go. That’s so nice of your sister.

She’s really worried. These constant infections and antibiotics. All the sudden new allergies. And with the major decline in my energy. I’m worried too. It’s very nice of her indeed. I honestly don’t know what I would do without my sister.

Look like a fun way to exercise.

Yes. We’re finding things out. The coughing attacks are allergy attacks, I have become allergic to milk and eggs. The dairy is worse and I can’t really get away with any without being pretty sick. Egg is not as bad, but still not good. I also have mild copd to go along with preexisting asthma so my lungs just aren’t happy and healthy right now.

The trouble sleeping seems to be related to severe sleep apnea according to a home sleep study I did. They now want me to do a hospital sleep study to determine what type of sleep apnea I have so they can recommend a therapy. It’s scheduled for the 28th.

The trouble swallowing seems to be muscular in nature I guess from what the speech pathologist led me to believe during the barium swallow. She wants me to come to therapy once a week to learn some exercises to strengthen the muscles in my throat. She didn’t comment on why I keep getting larygitis.

Regarding the laryngitis - 2 times I took full courses of zithromax for it and I don’t feel like either time the larygitis was resolved completely. Right now I’m on Augmentin for an ulceration on my gums and I feel that it is resolving my laryngitis as well as the ulceration. So, that is good and I am very relieved and happy about that.

So yes, lots of testing has been or is being done and hopefully I’ll start feeling better and getting some health and energy back. I’m hoping if I put a little energy into the rebounder it will come back to me twofold.

I’m so sorry. What a nightmare. My sister suddenly developed tons of food allergies and we have no idea why. She’s allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, milk including yogurt and eggs. It’s just crazy!
