My secret agent delusion / hallucination

It was Sept 1999, the year when I started having more delusions and auditory hallucinations, I traveled in New Mexico and then in one evening in a hotel there I went through some transition and ‘self-removal’ and I had delusions that I was the KGB Vladimir and NSA counter-intelligence, I wrote all this down in the paper notebook. I do not know exactly what happened.

I think the whole spy thing is a common delusion. I thought I was being recruited telepathically the day before I was hospitalised.

I know that most of these spy stories, if not all, are just delusions. Many years ago I read one Finnish book about psychological and psychiatric illnesses people have. In one case a person (from Finland) had been in England for some time and after returning back to Finland this person had started talking that he was recruited by the CIA in England and that he was a CIA agent. After some time he was commited to the mental hospital involuntarily and had been there for a long time. I know that I had similar delusions in America, but at the time these seemed so real, but they were just delusions.

I believed I was a double agent back when I was ill…trying to put the devil in a box so he could be delivered to the lake of fire…long story.

I have secret agent delusions sometimes, once thought I worked for MI7 which does not exist by the way. I have found alot of British mental health patients will watch James Bond films alot on the ward, When I’m ill I can’t watch James Bond it sends me crazier. I watch NCIS which is more straight forward. Secret agent delusions are a symptom of the illness we have to deal with, I doubt any agency would ever recruit people with our condition and that’s what we have got to remember.
