So do you see a private psychiatrist? How often do you see them?

Hope you get a good replacement. Good psychiatrists are hard to come by. Mine allows me to choose whatever medication I want which is good rather than just prescribe and force me on something.

My pdoc lives three hours away and there’s a huge waiting list for appointments

Yea she said she was referring me to someone

I hope shes nice !

What medication you on and does the medical aid pay?

Im on Clozapine and zoloft. I went off prozac today ~!

But yea there is a co payment on the Clozapine ! Like 300 rand or something !!

Im on Bonitas and to be honest, they fuucking me around !!

Its messed up the clozapines on the medical dispensary list so there shouldn’t be a copayment I’m on keycare plus with discover no copayments and they cover everything work pays but its only R1080

I must look at that. Im paying R2100 on Bonitas and they just messing me around. Always drama with them !!

What meds do you take?

Risperidone 3mg but want to get it lowered some more meds cost medical aiid like R700

Are you on a high dose of meds?

Ya kinda. Not too bad !!

This pdoc I had is so so good, im so sad shes leaving…

It sucks changing docs. I’m happy with mine gives me lots of choice. What’s the side effects on your meds?

THe only one is that I battle to wake up in the morning without my alarm, which irritates me a little bit. Other than that I dont have any hey !!

Im sure im staying on Clozapine, and she says this new doctor is great
What about you?

What’s weird is schizophrenia gets two sessions for pmb but bipolar gets six per year.

Really i think i get 13 !!!

Do you only get 2 visits with your pdoc a year?

Its probably more because of medical aid.
