Searching for a new pdoc

I’ve been feeling high (manic) this past month and this lady says that she is too busy to help me at the moment
Her office staff suggested that I go into emergency inpatient care (whatever that ■■■■■■■ means)

I’ve called her office at first and got no response so I emailed her and this was when an office staff member relayed her message back to me

Now I know that she doesn’t care about her patients

I’m in the process of seeking out for a different psychiatrist now.

I can also tell that my case is too complex for her to handle

Good riddance

Yeah, I’m lucky I found the first psychiatrist being the best one. He trusts my family to take it seriously.

I hope you can find the right pdoc, it does make all the difference in the world.

I don’t know @Ribbit
Maybe she’s really that busy, who knows

I see her in 2 weeks and may keep the appointment

IMO there’s very few good psychiatrists out there

  • Give her a second chance
  • Get a different pdoc

I know it’s always a hassle trying to find a good doctor but I’ve finally made up my mind.
I’m going to drop her like a hot potato
I’ve given her enough chances.

You’re welcome. I like my pdoc a lot. It’s important. I found her through talking with my hospital where I was originally hospitalized and diagnosed. They recommended them for partial hospitalization. If you’re comfortable, you can call a local hospital and ask which outpatient psychiatric facilities they recommend.

Oh man, I’ve been researching and calling a ton of different pdocs and many of them seem to be incompetent or don’t accept my insurance.
I will see her in 2 weeks and from there I’ll make a judgement call.
At least she doesn’t seem to be so incompetent

Thanks guys
