All I need to do now is get an haircut in town, buy toilettes and pack a few more things. I’m ready for Sri Lanka on the 5th November, I’m staying in 6 different guest houses along the southern Sri Lankan coast. I need a break so looking forward to going. This is my beach holiday, I’m going hiking in the Himalayas in Nepal in March next year, I havent been to Nepal in over 18 years so will be interesting how much it’s changed. I still have big plans for my 40th birthday in November next year too. Its going to be a good year next year hopefully if I can maintain wellness.
Bon voyage @bobbilly
thank you @everhopeful
How do you afford your vacations? I’m just curious because i live off of disability and can sometimes barely afford to eat, much less fly to different countries. I’m kind of jealous of you, truthfully. But i hope you enjoy Sri Lanka…
UK benefits pay very generous plus I’m on a community treatment order (section 117) so I don’t have to pay anything out my benefits apart from utilities, rent and staff are paid for fully!. which I’m in a 4 person shared group home which is cheap for utilities… Also have an accountant that manages my money and I spend very minimal on food during the month. Hence a big surplus over the months to spend on vacations, if that makes sense?
I wish you all the best on your upcoming trip.
