My old pdoc resign from hospital and i m nervous about new pdoc

My long-time psychiatrist resigned a couple of years ago (three, I think?). She was good. The new one I got was excellent, but he might retire at the end of this year. It’s always hard to change doctors. :frowning:

I think my pdoc is younger than me so hopefully I won’t ever need to switch.

I’ve always chosen my psychiatrists.
I’m very happy with my current psychiatrist, I’ve been seeing her for a while so she knows me well.

My VA pdoc transferred to another VA hospital a while back so I was assigned to the staff psychopharmacologist here at my VA. I haven’t seen her yet. I see her in a few more days. Whether or not she can diagnose or prescribe are big question marks.
