They called me and told me to immediately get him to the emergency vet. He had to be put under twilight sleep and he had to get cleaned out and stitched up.
The groomer said she doesn’t know how it happened because he never gave her any trouble and he never moved around or anything.
The business doesn’t pay for things like that and they’re making the groomer pay for it out of pocket. That’s not fair.
He’s ok now.

Oh no! I would have a heart attack if I got that call. I’m glad your pupper’s ok now. 
Emergency vets aren’t cheap. That seems like a big financial burden on that one employee. That’s kind of weird to me that they have to pay for it (vs the business) but what do I know.

The business is just being cheap. Why would they pay when they can make a rule that someone else had to pay.

@Happy_H I don’t know because even the groomer doesn’t know. The vet thinks it may have been a dull blade.
@anon1517417 @anon12381882 I’m going to ask my husband to talk to them about how the groomer shouldn’t have to pay this bill. It should be the company.

Sucks that the groomer has to pay for it. Worst thing I’ve ever had happen when I brought Mojo in (which I’ve done maybe twice in her life) for a full groom was they trimmed her fancy pants when they weren’t supposed to (she’s really fluffy, and she has butt fluff).

Yeah, but your poor puppy! It makes me sad to think about how much that hurt him (her?).
He seemed ok to the groomer. But yeah I think he’s probably in pain. I just gave him pain meds though so hopefully that helps
