Has upped the price the last time we were there and again for tomorrow’s appointment. She now charges $60! He absolutely must be groomed every other month due to his fur. We can no longer afford to tip her.
But she’s super good with him. He loves her. He won’t let me groom him even though he’s very attached to me and is with in my lap or following me around.
I’ve decided this time to tip $5 but that’s insane to pay $65 for a ten pound dog who even the groomer says is super good during grooming.
I’m actually contemplating telling her my husband and I are both disabled and can’t afford to tip much so she understands. But I’m not sure how to do it without her thinking it’s a “woe is me” thing. @pasteyface@Wave @
I have to resort to home grooming do to cost. Does not look the best but all my dog needs is a short coat. He fights and i feel bad. I put a collar and short leash in the bathroom so he eventually stays still.
I hope she can give you guys a break for your situation.
Even before money problems I thought 50 was too much for me.
My dogs fur gets matted if I let it go more than 2 months. I brush him but not thoroughly enough because he doesn’t like his belly area to be brushed. I’ve tried many different brushes but no luck.
Yeah. I don’t mean it as a woe is me. I’ve come up with the tip for this time luckily so I have more time to think about how and if I want to tell her I’m disabled
