About 10 days ago, my doggo got into poison ivy on his belly. We’ve been treating him as best we can - 2 oatmeal baths, an e-collar, etc. and his irritation is just not getting better. He licked the whole area raw before we figured out what his issue was. Send my pup some good vibes and well-wishes - I’m anxious and worried about him, and since this is an emergency clinic, it ain’t gonna be cheap. Pic of said good boy:
that is such a handsome doggo, sending my love and well wishes to his recovery
What a beautiful boy!
Please keep us updated on his condition.
All the best!

Aww he’s beautiful @anon40540444!
It’s good you are taking him to the Emergency clinic.
They will take good care of him.
Hopefully it won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
I know how expensive vets can be.
I’m sorry he’s so itchy I hope they can help sending good vibes your way and hopes that it’s not overly expensive
Oh no! I hope they can help.
Beautiful dog. Hope he gets all fixed up.
Nice pic. Beautiful dog. Wishing him the best.
Hoping the doggo is feeling better soon.
Thanks everyone! We just got home. There were a few cats/dogs ahead of us when we got there. It being emergency care, it’s first come, first served, higher priorities triaged first.
So the bottom line is he got some prednisone to take for 5 days, along with instructions to bathe him once or twice a day - if he permits that. Had a good experience there; once we got in it was lickity-split. Total bill was under $150, so I’m pleased with that too. But yeah, some meds and baths, and he should be right as rain in a few days.
Thanks again to everyone in this thread for their well-wishes. Means a lot.
great to hear

I hope he gets better.
