My new pdoc seems pretty cool

she asked me a lot about my life, or former life due to pandemic.

it was cordial, nothing too serious. I must have come across well,
cuz she doesn’t want to see me for 3 months.

it’s all good, just keep filling my meds.

ah nice that you have good new pdoc. I would find it hard to start over with a new pdoc cause you’d have to go over everything again to let them get to know you. Like my pdoc knows so much about me… it would be impossible to tell that all to new pdoc.

But yea it’s true, most important is that they provide your meds that you need.

New pdrs have access to all your previous files and notes that previous pdrs wrote.

The new doc might or might not have access to old files. In my experience, it seems like they don’t much read the old files. They might look at the diagnosis and if and under what circumstances one might be violent.

I think they do, when I changed psychiatrists new ones already knew the symptoms I was complaining about.

I think she did, though, Jay, cuz she was mostly reiterating, or confirming,
and kinda giving me a positive spin about myself.

It is nice when you get a good one!
