I can’t remember who is who on this forum. I spoke privately and on topics with many people but i can’t remember who are you guys. Sorry for that and do you have any idea how can i improve myself in this regard.

Haha friend we used to talked a lot… but i forgot what we talked about… i have serious cognitive issue… thats whu i gave up studies…!!!

I’ve always had a bad memory. When I met my wife I wrote her name down an put it in my glove box. And that was pre sz. Lol
I’m sorry you are having trouble. It sounds very scary. Is it that you can’t associate the people and their profiles with what they said before or you completely don’t remember? Like do you remember people saying certain things but you can’t put a personality with a name?
I’d rather you didn’t experience this but this does provide me with a challenge. I shall have to become even more annoying to help you remember me. I think I can do it

I hate when I’m in public and someone goes hey myrealname what you up to… and my mind draws a blank… and I’m like hey… guy… how’s your mom…
I can’t associate, i speak with same person like it’s the first time i’m seeing him or her. Also can’t remember gender of people i speak with. I know nothing about people i speak with.
I remember arturo and far_cry, that would be all i think.

What does your pdoc or therapist say about it? Have you spoken with them about it?
Well, previous pdocs didn’t take me seriously at all, and one said just something like it’s a pseudodementia and now get out.
With new pdoc that truly gets me i haven’t had time yet to speak about this.

Unless people explicitly give a sign of their gender I’m usually clueless on that score.
Sounds like you have a problem with autobiographical memory. I do too.

Knowing a name is key to forming a relationship. I too feel like I am deficient in this regard. I rehearse names all the time but still I can only remember a few. In my opinion this is how the illness is established in me. I can’t say how it gets established.
