My insurance sucks without the extra help program

They charged me 500 some for Jardiance once to get my deductible in.

THey tried to charge me a 1350 co pay on abilify injection

Now, they want me to pay 125 for a months supply of jardiance.

Whats next? 3000 dollars for my supply of glipizide?

Its like they used to say that the military paid 150 dollars for a hammer or whatever.

Thats me, the duped military in medicinal form, paying 500 dollars for 30 pills.

Did you get hired by Amazon? If so, you might be eligible for health insurance through Amazon. They do offer health insurance (and many other benefits) to seasonal workers after 90 days of employment. They do have a minimum in regards to hours worked to be eligible for benefits, so you may want to look into that.

YEs, I am hired but I am not sure if I will be able to survive the 3 day 10.5 hour per day training marathon. I guess we will see. I havent worked in 10 years. I start training next Wednesday.

People say its a hard job. I’ll find out if its true, I suppose.

@Bowens

You’re going to do great !! Just by thinking you can do something increases your chances of doing it (placebo effect).

Take it one step at a time.

No, while both Amazon distribution centers and warehouses are part of Amazon’s logistics network, they serve different purposes: Amazon distribution centers handle receiving, sorting, and moving goods in bulk, while Amazon fulfillment centers (also known as warehouses) handle the final stages of order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping directly to customers.

Amazon Distribution Centers (DCs):

  • Function:

DCs are hubs in the supply chain where products are received from suppliers and then distributed to retail stores or other fulfillment centers.

  • Focus:

They focus on receiving, sorting, and moving goods in bulk quantities.

  • Storage:

They keep products for longer periods, acting as large storage units for Amazon, and they are not typically involved in shipping products directly to consumers.

  • Example:

When suppliers’ products arrive at Amazon, they go to a Distribution Center where workers check everything that comes in and sort it out, organizing the products based on where they need to go next.

Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs) / Warehouses:

  • Function:

FCs are large warehouses where Amazon receives, stores, picks, packs, and ships customer orders.

  • Focus:

They handle the final stages of order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping directly to customers.

  • Storage:

They hold products for a shorter period, as they are focused on processing and shipping orders quickly.

  • Example:

Amazon fulfillment centers are massive warehouses where Amazon receives products from their sellers.

Well hopefully it’s gotten easier and I know the pay is good
