Do you use a Mail order pharmacy? They seem surprisingly easy

OptumRX said all my medicines are now going to be free copays, I live in florida the insurance makes sure they dont have to pay overhead. Amazon pharmacy doesnt take the medicaid insurance but there are certain medicines that are generic and only a few dollars over the copay. I liked how Amazon pharmacy has very low prices lower than costco, but being able to search for your medication copay is kind of nice, getting it delivered so I Wont have to walk in the heat or beg for a ride is nice too. Anyone else try this? I was looking up copays abilify on amazon is cheap for me, less than 20 dollars without insurance…

im not pressuring i just get excited about how medical care for schizophrenia is evolving from the shock therapy that used to happen.

when i first signed up for this forum it was filled with people begging for advice on medications because they never fit them right, and abilify was 650 dollars after insurance. Amazon pharmacy will be good for the country, that medicine is good for a lot of people and next year Lurasidone comes off patent dispute corrections in court, so its anticipated for generics. Lurasidone doesnt give everyone akathisia, it did for me but anyways its pretty good news.

I use a local independent pharmacy to try and help pump up businesses in my area.

thats pretty good man! I was only saying this because with disability there is a period between qualifying for medicaid and qualifiying for medicare it takes about a year and a half and the only medication for me to take was risperdal which gave me rhinitis and terrible anxiety and depressive symptoms that wouldnt let me leave the bed…

I had to go to a specific pharmacy and get my medications stamped because I couldnt qualify for insurance until my disability was approved but simultaneously leaving the house was hard due to the eye pain headaches depression and anxiety.

This is good for psychiatry they do need to focus on creating better medications though. Walgreens on good rx in my area still charges 600 dollars for seroquel and if I were to go back to work I would be begging for medical insurance and burger king and wendys and uber and stuff dont provide this

Also for those that still take it I see invega sustena is 112 on amazon its going to be good for insurance now that covid and monkey pox are flooding the system…

i use a mail order pharmacy cause they were suppose to be cheap

but then they never sent a bill so i thought my pills copay were paid

then i got a bill for $700+

after fighting with them i got a payment plan for $45 a month

i dont want to switch pharmacies cause they do bubble wrap

bubble wrap is a week at a time with the pills all ready separated and placed in the time of day pocket to take them

im going to change my insurance plan when the medicare open enrollment starts in october i think it is

mine had a number you call and it was free, the free copays were really helpful because sometimes at the end of the month, I would be waiting on my check and feel heart palpitations in withdrawal and one time I went to the local mental hospital. I would beg around for medications and they kept thinking I couldnt handle money so its going to be very easy. Amazon pill pack does bubble wrap but they also do bottles now. When people get psychosis the local disability office especially in my area is very republican sometimes and getthing the medicaid means you need income qualifications. I mean I wont lie I wish I had better information on Caplyta because I am now 280 lbs on seroquel itself but that med HELPS my anxiety so its not so hard and disabling to take that.

The new GLP-1 inhibitor medications under patent are revolutionary aswell. I had a friend Kim her mother and brother both died of depression schizophrenia and weight gain, completely died as in gone forever and so did my uncle jerry. The heart problems are still curious and we have to wonder about the thyroid cancer suspicious with medications like Ozempic, and stuff but the weight loss diabetic medications can prevent toe amputations, surgeries, and insulin problems…

So basically this generation can still live a little longer than the average age of 50 years old that was posted from the study I read back in the 2010s because new medications are revolutionary and abilify is good for like 7 illnesses if you count off label including autism and depression. Not every medicine works for every person however but still I find these things to be interesting in cool.

I didnt know Jerry very well before he died but it gave me a bit of a mental complex because I saw my grandma nell cry and she planted him a memorial rose but I was anxious and sure my life was over when I was diagnosed in 2013, where I was working at wholefoods and happy in a relationship and in my own apartment renting not relying on anyone…

I have been getting my prescriptions in the mail for a while now. Used to use my insurance and go to Walgreens but always had small copays so I switched to Express Scripts and got rid of all the copays except Latuda. Still had a copay for that but they sent me 90 days of meds at a time.

I switched back to the VA now and it is all free. Even Latuda. But they only send me one month at a time for most of my meds. So I have to remember to order them every month.

I have issues with the government so entrusting my healthcare to the VA was a big deal. But they take good care of me.

I pay 14$CA for my monthly risperidone. My pharmacy sends me a txt message when I have a few pills left to tell me that its ready. I just call them and I choose delivery. They deliver it to my house.
