From all the drugs ive done. It feels like my brain is strained. Its not neccesarily painful all the time but it feels extremely uncomfortable. I just recently got sober and its been two months. To better describe the feeling, it feels like my head is tired, and i can feel my brain inside my skull and it just feels so terrible. Drugs is how i got sz. Im just wondering if it will go away with sobriety… When i use to smoke weed 2 months ago every time i smoked my brain would just tense up and now its not as bad as when i smoked but its like residual from previous use… do you think this will get better?
First off I’m very happy for you that you’re clean, good job. Secondly, yes I think you’ll continue to get better over time. Hang in there, at some point you’ll wake up and feel good and be thankful you put in all this hard work quitting.
I’ve heard that withdrawal symptoms can last for a while.
This medication naltrexone has helped me heal from my past drug use. It’s been a really good drug for me. Drugs replace other ones. But it has less harms and more healing properties especially for a sz. I take the pill every day. It blocks opiates and alcohol from working and you don’t crave drugs or alcohol as much. But it’s healed me. Ever since I had a bad shrooms trip in 2014 May. Well till December 2015 I suffered sooo much from it till I found this med naltrexone. It’s only been good for me. Worth a try maybe.
Good job giving up the drugs! It can be really harmful for a person with sz especially. I would think the longer you go without the drugs the better you will feel. Good luck.
Have you been sleeping enough? Your brain probably does need a break after all that
did you have the same head problem? What symptoms were you experiencing?
It was intense anxiety /flashbacks / HPPD that plagued my life that’s now gone. I’m not sure if it was a headache but some feeling inside my brain.
