BUT positive thing he asked me to See a Psychotherapist …!!
Your doctor probably thinks you have depression. Do you believe that? If so, have you exhausted all meds that could help with depression?
I’ve never had ECT, but it seems like a choice for people who are treatment-resistant. You would be under general anesthesia, and a small amount of electricity is administered into your entire brain. You may have some temporary memory loss.
You may want to ask your doctor about rTMS.
