My counselor is a nurse

She was offered to me through the mental illness charity organization I belong to.
She is a nurse at the organization and is simply amazing!

She is in between a counselor and case manager. Providing counseling (therapy) and case management.

This is on top of my regular social worker therapist who basically just checks up on me through a 10 minute phone call

No, my nurse counselor is really helping me.

One of the best therapists I’ve had, bar none!

That’s really great to hear. I used to see a Psychatric Nurse Practicioner and she was also very good.

My case manager is a nurse, she’s very nice and non-judgmental. I enjoy are talks every Friday morning.
