My Cat Is Too Hyper and a Big Aggressive

I’m so glad you rescued your kitten!

I’ll try to get video of Tiggy doing hands in the air and I’ll post it and tag you in it if we’re luck enough to capture it!

My old cat, Ginga, acted more like a dog than a cat. He loved to play games. Luckily for me he was never aggressive though.

Oh I forgot to mention that Tiggy can be aggressive too. More so with Mr Turtle because he wrestles with Tiggy on the floor. He rarely attacks me because I hissed (just a quick, loud psst) whenever he would bite me. Now he still does bite me occasionally but I just have to say Tiggy No and he stops and looks sheepish.

Well, we can’t have a cat thread with no pics! Here’s a discrete pic of my cat wearing his fashionable new Superman collar (it’s blue with the Superman logo across it!).
He likes to look out the window, but I have to keep the window closed or else he’ll try to scale the screen like spidey cat and i’m scared he’ll tear a hole and fall two stories, so he’s only allowed on window with supervision or closed windows.

Tiggy’s collar has “Little Prince” written on it, I bought it from a market when we were away on holidays last year …

And here’s a not so discrete picture of his beautiful face…

Cat’s really make a big difference to your life don’t they? I think Tiggy has helped with my recovery. He has given me something outside of myself to focus on and love. And they love us unconditionally. Well, there is the condition of food and playing, but he has I love mama days where he just follows me everywhere in the house.

He is our little fur baby because we don’t plan to have any children. So we spoil him rotten. Mum had a funny picture of a cat in it’s own teepee with it’s own ipad and the caption said something like “I think we indulge the cat too much” or something like that. She said when she first saw it she immediately though of Tiggy. He is indulged, but he gives back a lot of affection and he makes us laugh.

Yes, I am so grateful every day when i get home and my cat is standing there meowing at me! He makes a hard day of work worthwhile. My anxiety and depression are eased as soon as he starts to purr.

My bf (I have a boyfriend now! We’re new) loves animals and my cat loves him, too much. He’ll walk all over my bf and then let him pet him until he gets overstimulated and then hell bite, but my bf says it’s okay because it was just a play bite. they get along! I sent my mom a pic of my bf holding my kitteh and she thought it was cute (and she doesn’t approve of my bf cuz he’s a bit younger than me, so that was a first!)

Kitteh makes me feel like I have a family of my own!

Yea I think my anxiety and depression have reduced since we got Tiggy from the RSPCA.

Cute story. When we went to the RSPCA, it was on a whim, I actually wanted to go to look at the dogs. But the only dogs they had were really big and all had separation anxiety issues. We went over to the kitten room and Tiggy ran to the window and jumped on a chair and started meowing. We went to walk away and he put his paw up on the window and meowed heaps.

So we asked if we could go in and spend time with the kittens. But they made us fill out an adoption form before we would go in and gave us this big warning about how there had been an outbreak of ringworm amongt the kitties. I thought it was all unnecessary because we just wanted to go in and pet them. And by the time we filled in all the paper work, Tiggy had gone to sleep in one of the beds.

But then we got in and he woke up and came straight over to me and climbed up my leg for a cuddle and wouldn’t leave me. So we bought him.

They put him in a cardboard carrier case to bring him home and half way on the trip home he chewed through it and burst out. He was only about ten weeks old at that point. And he was a handful of a kitten.

And I really regretted getting him because he was such a handful and I didn’t think I’d be a good cat mama. But I couldn’t bring myself to take him back and think of him in another household and I got a vision of him as a full grown cat and we decided to keep him. I’m so glad we did because he has brought so much happiness and joy to our lives. We have such a wonderful household now.

Congrats on the boyfriend too!
