Music sales hit a 20-year high, thanks to streaming and vinyl

Remember all the outcry when p2p downloads were around

Now they get that happened because of convenience and the streaming music services just meant people now can do it legally

Much better

The days of buying a cd are thankfully gone and more people can listen to music they wouldn’t otherwise pay for as a physical purchase

You know when I see people singing in TV
their voice modulation automatically changed to singing,
Because one channel delayed it and got to know there is some trick to make the voice modulation as a song.
Do you know any functionality as those ?
I think @shutterbug may know, do you know about the setting if there are any ?
Because I believe most of the Indian actors cant sing but with their voice, there are songs based in the movie with their voice.

really wow, yea i used pitch correction on this too. like autotune right? i wish i had added some more vocal effects like a phaser or flanger to the hook but my back hurts too much to spend too manyhours at the pc

Like @POET said you’re referring to Autotune pitch correction? Cher’s Believe is a prominent early example of this, but in her case the software was used to distort her voice somewhat as well. Voice correction is fairly common. When people hear my voice on The Squirrel it is amped up from my regular speaking voice thanks to the processing it goes through before it hits the mixing board. (Tube compressor and hard limiter.)

tube compressor sounds very nice … softtube makes a good free vst effect for it… my facourite compressor tho is multiband (obviously both have their uses but, i put ott on everything)… are you familiar with OTT?

pitch correction is industry standard i believe these days. id be surpriesed if theres a single song these days that doesnt use it… i mean why wouldnt you? maybe im mistaken. back in the day they used to not use it but these days pretty sure every single song you hear on the radio besides live shows uses it basically to some degree.

Here’s what I’m using:

ART PRO VLA II

I upgraded the stock Russian tubes to some vintage, new old stock RCAs I found on eBay. Smoother sound.
