Music as a wellness tool

I love music! I always have. I just connect to it. Especially rock n roll. I went out last night to a dive bar and had a blast. We danced up a storm and made it a good time to listen and move to the music! What kind of music do you like to dance to?

I don’t dance but would like to be able too but bang my head and love my music.

Music really is a tool for mental health. It’s also something I share with my friends and helps with socialisation. Gawd. Just look at all those poor people who follow Taylor Swift!

So yes. Don’t dance but as Lennon once said I’m a much better lover!

Did your music taste change due to sz?

My perception of music changed ever since I got medicated last year. No music brings me joy or euphoria unless maybe if its a song from my past, but even then it is minimal. Music just doesn’t move me anymore. I think its some bad case of anhedonia.

I listened to music before I had SZ. Loved it since I was small. SZ tried to take that away from me, but I took it back.
