Money troubles

Well, looks like I’m either going to have to get a job where I’m not required to have a driver’s license or previous experience, OR I have to get an express loan, which is nearly impossible as I’m in the national registry for people with bad credit and unpaid bills.

I’m screwed. I’m so screwed, and stressed out about being financially screwed, that my stomach hurts and I’m starting to dissociate.

Can’t I just have the doctors put me in a coma until this is all over? … I wish.

My dad can’t lend me the money, my mother is not replying, and I don’t think my friend nor my siblings will be able to either. My sister has a lot of money right now, but everytime she loans me something, she makes comments like “saved your broke ass again”, or asks me if I’ve gone back to doing drugs

How do I stop worrying? What am I supposed to do? I really wish I was the kind of person who cries, I’d call everyone I know with money and score pity-loans so I could pay my bills. :sob:

I think you should swallow your pride and call your sister.

But it’s such a large sum I need. I usually make 8300dkk a month, and she sometimes borrows me 50-150dkk at the end of the month when I’ve ran out. In order to make it work I’ll need at least 2000dkk from her, I can’t even guarantee I’d be able to pay her back

What country are you from Nova? I noticed the dkk at the end of the numbers. My mom had no job, I helped her get two jobs. She has been physically sick for a while now. Why in the hell do you have to pay your own family back? Because it’s a large amount. ■■■■.

I’m from Denmark. I don’t have to repay my parents, but the only way my sister has been willing to help me in the past has been if I’ve promised to pay her back as soon as I got money.

Oh. Surely your sister doesn’t want you to end up homeless. Could you live with some relatives so you can pay off things?

Then I’d have to move, and spend money I don’t have on moving and transportation to and from school

I’m sorry you’re going through this. No friends to help?

I have a friend who might be able to if I ask him, but lately it seems like we only ever talk when it comes to money, and I owe him so much already that I feel super guilty.

Are you still lending your friend your credit card every week? If so, that really has to stop. If you can’t take care of yourself, it’s unfair to you and everyone you borrow from to keep giving a significant amount of your money every month.

I am… The bill I’m stressing over paying is one we agreed to pay half of each, and it has to be paid ASAP. He can’t afford to pay my share.

I know it seems wrong in so many ways and I feel shitty about it, but he can’t afford to have me cut him off. He has nobody else, and he makes no more money than I do.

I get a little bit of money from my parents each week. My friend loaned money from me so often, we decided to just make it a permanent/regular thing so he wouldn’t have to ask and feel shitty about asking pretty much every week.

I make sure I have enough for food, although at the moment, thanks to my bank, my account is in the minus.

I manage my money well. I usually always have a lot of money in the bank. Peoples money should be separate. I would never lend anyone money

My mother and sister are very bad with money. Even my father isn’t great. But I am good with my money.

Don’t you realize that’s not fair to your parents and sister? They never agreed to help your friend, and yet they’re stuck giving him money every week through you. You are not responsible for your friend’s bills. They are not responsible for your friend’s bills.

I know that, and I feel just awful about the whole thing.

I’m sorry I don’t have much advice but just know we are all here for you. Money problems are one of life’s biggest stresses.

Unfortunately, you’re going to continue feeling awful for as long as you allow the situation to continue. This is one situation where the bad feeling can go away if you take the steps necessary to fix the problem.
