Actually there’s been a lot of studies done on this. Lack of money can absolutely cause unhappiness, when someone has to stress about how to survive. But once you have enough money to live comfortably (ie provide for all your basic needs, never worry about paying for bills or food or anything) then more money past that is not linked to any increase in happiness. So getting enough money to comfortably live by makes you happy but excess money doesn’t guarantee happiness.
I more look down on someone for bad character content than financial predicament…

Where I live, it buys health…jobs and even school diplomas too.
I liked a gal here, helped her out a bit and went to a party she had, they were all drunk and screaming at each other all night, she was not even counting her money, just handing it out to her so called friends who went and got more booze and drink some more
Had it not been for that, her lack of funds would not have mattered
that sounds like the nightmarish scenario that I don’t want to happen to me one day as Ive seen people behave like that too. Those are not the kinds of friends I would like to have
Money can’t buy happiness but makes living in misery a hell of a lot easier.
Interesting I wonder if this is why I have lost contact with the people I once called friends. I thought that I would do more than what I am currently doing that is for sure.
I’m looking for the best love that money can buy.
