but dad says, yeah but he speaks fast like mom’s side of the family. mom says the only time people in her family talk is when they’ve been drinking. i don’t know, i guess i talk alot, im sober most of the time. mom says she needs a break from me.

dad’s side of the family are tea totalers and they talk a lot, but some of them take a long time to tell a story. they speak slowly.

I need a break from my mom. She’s been texting me every day since I got a cell phone in 2007. I told her twice that I don’t have anything to talk about but she still keeps texting me. I really want to block her.

she’s just not very social around us. i don’t get upset that much over it, she can be a bit bossy and mean though. she treats me like a child.

I think a lot of people with severe mental illness get treated that way. It’s too bad that education for family and friends doesn’t show them how to be supportive while still treating an adult as an adult
