Minocycline 100 mg and NAC might be decreasing efficiacy of minocycline?

A friend i believe it was @Aziz or @anon22322466 (correct me if I’m wrong) who told me NAC decreased abilify AP effect and he or her is right it might also be doing that with the minocycline… I have little to no effect… it used to work like a charm always

Both minocycline and NAC are NMDA receptor antagonist so you’ll probably get same effect.

Zinc is a natural NMDA receptor antagonist.

im currently getting no effect at all :frowning:

no, not tried Zinc yet, i don’t know why minocycline isnt working… 100 mg should be enough no?

you might be expecting results from nmda antagonists, minoycline in this regard gives antagonist results. taking it alone might give effect. nac probably interfering the effect.

I quit the NAC 600 mg a day ago

if taking zinc then try the optizinc form it gives best results. avoid copper mixed ones as copper opposes the effects of zinc.

saw your old thread mentioning about anti viral drugs

i think its a new concept but show some promise as amantadine have both anti viral and glutamate antagonist property. glutamate antagonist agents are found to reduce negative symptoms, anxiety etc.

nac, amantadine, zinc, minocycline all have one thing in common they are all glutamate antagonist, all these are anti viral agents too. even the ones i mentioned previously like holy basil (tulsi), monolaurin also comes under same category.

have you asked pdoc to prescribe amantadine? i think it gives best results when compared with micocycline, nac and others.
