Even if I hear my friend’s voices responding to my thoughts, that doesn’t mean they can actually hear them right?

That’s right. It doesn’t mean they can hear your thoughts. I’ve dealt with similar symptoms before. I got to thinking about it logically, more often than not, what I was thinking had something to do with the conversation I was having. This led my mind to associate small thoughts to what the other person was replying. It seemed like they were reading my mind but it was just my mind linking what I had said to what was being said by the other person. Now that I am on meds and thinking more rationally, I realize these things didn’t really correlate. I was just imagining my mind was being read.

Yes it does. Keep in mind there is no empirical proof of telepathy. I think if there was a possibility it was real it would already have been proven by science and heavily researched. It is however a common symptom of schizophrenia. My advice is don’t feed the symptoms or they get worse and don’t forget to take your medication. Without meds the schizophrenic mind deteriorates.

Hey no problem amigo. There is no shame in taking meds, they are meant to help and years of research indicates they help us have a better life. Sometimes symptoms still appear but at least you don’t think you’re Imhotep that bad guy from the Mummy. I’ve been there and believe me it wasn’t pretty.
