I was in army briefly and moved up to e2 almost e3 . I have personality disorder previously schzioaffective and ADHD. I had some difficulties before joining but no history mental health problems . I don’t really have hallucinations just how describe stuff and I dunno it’s wired but should I get respect for being in the army for ammunition specialist. I was at fort jackson.

Why should anyone express respect for the military, particularly the US military, with its exceedingly long history of war crimes and human rights violations, from the Indian Wars up to Guantamano? I can’t think of many everyday delusions as corrupting as the mindless gung-ho patriotism expressed by several people in this thread. Incidentally, this topic is clearly political yet no one flags it.
