A doctor I know researches menstrual psychosis. I was diagnosed with this before (though nobody really knows what I have). A link is suspected with the spectrum. I have heard women with this problem often have autism, ADHD or learning disorder. Not always. Perhaps it is of interest to other women, see research below. It is often not recognized in psychiatry, women are misdiagnosed with schizophrenia or other problems. The treatment is different. The last article has suggestions.
