I’m on 40 mg of Latuda and 156 mg of Invega Sustenna. I met with my psych doctor and he wants to discontinue the Latuda to see if the TD will go away. He wants me to quit the Latuda cold turkey.?I didn’t think that was a good idea, so we agreed that I would take half a tablet. What do you think? Anyone else discontinued Latuda? If so, how did you do it?

Usually when you quit aps, they taper you down, so it will go easier.
You can get more symptoms, so keep contact with your doctor.
I might transition to Latuda soon

I don’t know if it was the Invega or the Latuda or both.
I will see him every 2 weeks until this is resolved.
I think discontinuing a small dose is pretty common practice. 40mg latuda is not very much, 20mg being the lowest dose.
But yeah, some people may benefit from tapering, and it’s a safer option I guess.
We agreed I would take half a 40mg Latuda tablet for 7 days then just stop taking it.

I was on Latuda for a very short time, and when I got off of it I was hurting a little more than I cared to. It didn’t last more than a day, though.
