How have you been weaned off of Invega Sustenna? If so, how did you do it? Last time I was taken off of it cold turkey, had a relapse, and had to be rushed back on it to avoid hospitalization.
My dr decreased my dose and added a different AP. Then the next month, he took me off Invega and increased the newer AP. It worked fine.
Were you on the injection or the pill? I’m on both.
Half way in between the invega injection I was put on latuda
I tried Latuda for 2 weeks. It didn’t clear up the psychosis. So, my doc added the Invega pill to the injection.
Why do you want off of it? Does it make you feel awful like almost everybody else on the planet? Maybe try adding abilify to it like others have.

I started on the pills, but then switched to the injection.
I’d like to get off Invega Sustenna, too. I’ve heard lowering the dose slowly is the best way. I’m also on Abilify.
I’m having mouth movements and arm/leg tremors–signs of TD.

Just an update–My pdoc wants to take me off of the Invega pills and leave me on the injection. He’s going to wean me off of the 1.5 pill by giving me 0.5 Risperdone for 20 days and then I’ll be only on the injection. Hopefully, this tweak will eliminate the mouth, leg, and arm movements.
