Maybe Wellbutrin. Weight loss injections $$$$$

Hi. My primary doc today is prescribing Wellbutrin for appetite help. She had me ask my psychiatrist if that’s alright. I hope psych agrees and I can start.

The weight loss injections (zepbound and wegovy) I found out are so expensive there’s no way to afford them!! Unreal!

The diabetes ones (Mounjaro and ozempic) are less in cost but still very expensive and I am not diabetic.

Didn’t notice Wellbutrin making a difference with appetite for me. Being put on Saxenda was a game changer. Just got moved to Wegovy this week and I have bit more appetite, but I am starting at the low dose.

I also started out on Saxenda (my doc gave me samples before my insurance started covering Mounjaro). I’m glad to be on the lowest Mounjaro dose and maintaining weight.

I’m hoping I can stay on a low dose once I hit my target weight because I have the appetite from hell without this med. 52 lbs away from target now. Almost 120 lbs gone.

Well my psychiatrist said that I can try Wellbutrin. I hope it helps me.

You guys are so lucky to afford the injections @shutterbug @WhiteRaven . Good job on your weight loss success!! Be proud of yourselves!

I’m lucky they are covered by my benefits plan from work.

I’ve been doing semaglutide injections for a few months now. My mom found a compound pharmacy that you get the doctor to send the prescription to and it only cost about $100 a month. Last time I checked my weight at the doctor’s office a few months ago I had lost 17 pounds. I haven’t checked my weight in a few months because I don’t own a scale.
