Maybe i'll just sit in the sun today

got some things to do but im not feeling up to it today. maybe i’ll go out in my chair and sit in the sun for a couple hours.

things to do today: dishes, mow grass, weed eat raised beds, paint raised beds, water garden, go grocery shopping.

I will probably get the weed eating done, water the garden, and go grocery shopping. the rest will have to wait until tomorrow.

im also having some doubts about expanding the garden next year. i’m thinking what I have now may be all I can handle if I go back to work, which I plan on.

most of my future gardening would be watering and weeding. on days off probably the weekends.

Good for you! Get some vitamin d in you!

well I got the grocery shopping done. as a treat I bought some frozen egg rolls. they were pretty good. I hadn’t ate today and was feeling a little nauseas from my morning coffee. would have thrown up if I had anything in my stomach. like I said im feeling much better. now I will water my garden.

I sat in the sun yesterday for the first time this spring. 20 minutes actually made me feel pretty good.

yeah 20 to 30 minutes is probably more reasonable than a couple hours. will get a little sun from working outside today but I don’t want to overdue it.

I used to like to get tan, but now I use caution when going out in the sun. haha I even bought a gardening hat to keep the sun out of my face.

I’ve been sitting out in the sun a few days this week and it has really boosted my mood. I also play music that helps drown out the voices. Just being in nature helps tremendously. I suggest you go out there on nice days. Of course I wear sunscreen though so that’s important. My tan still happens with it. My vitamin D tends to stay low too.

got my garden watered.

and I also decided on a groundcover for the front of the house. going to plant a bunch of blue fescue, im thinking I will need 100-200 plants. which would cost me like $700-1400a dollars if I bought plants. so im going to start from seed instead. will save me some money but will be a little extra work. that will be around the front and the sides of the house and in the back im going to have a bunch of hostas where its shady. will do it next year or the year after. that’s the plan for now, unless I change my mind.

mom just bought some blue fescue for her place and it looks pretty good. that influenced my decision.
