Duke has 3 players who will be picked very early in the next NBA draft. They look like a solid pick. I wish I have watched them more than I did this year. I will definitely watch them in the tournament. D you consider Duke to be in your neck of the woods geographically @anon1517417?

Not particularly. I just voted for them because that’s who you picked. :joy:

It’s a solid choice if they don’t have injuries. :grinning:

I’m going to say that now if I have a conversation about this with anyone at work.

I used to be a Duke fan when i was younger. Everybody where I live (SC) is a Clemson or USC fan. I don’t really keep up with all of it anymore though.

Everybody I played basketball with growing up was either a Duke or North Carolina fan. In Colorado.

Yeah. They’re bigger basketball schools. I said Clemson and USC in my first reply but they’re really more football schools.

The South Carolina basketball coach looks so intense and always gets them far in the tournament.

College sports are very important here in the South. It’s like religion to us haha.

I’ve always wondered why the south doesn’t have more NFL teams. Alabama and Clemson pretty much are pro teams though.

I’m not sure. Was never much of a football fan. I know we have to share a team with NC, the Panthers.

Is the Carolina Panthers shared too?

edit haha I thought you were talking the hockey team sorry

Yeah, that’s what I mean. There’s two Carolinas, North and South, but only one team for both of us. They play in NC but i think they have training in SC if i’m not mistaken.

Don’t they train in Spartan South Carolina? Awesome city name.

Spartanburg. Yeah i think so. That’s the county next to Greenville, where i live.

Does it snow in North or South Carolina?

It doesn’t snow much in SC. Maybe a few inches every now and then, but it melts within a day or two. In western NC, it’s mountainous and they get a good bit of snow. I’m not really sure about the rest of NC.

Same thing happnes to snow in Colorado unless you live int the mountains like North Carolina
