We get more ice storms than snow in SC. Freezing rain and sleet. It makes the roads dangerous to drive on and causes power outages.

That sounds like Pensacola Florida.I lived there a year.

I didn’t know they got freezing weather that far south. I picture Florida as being warm. Of course it’s really hot in SC during the summer but it still freezes in winter.

Yea I had to exercise in the morning and the grass froze over. It didn’t last very long though.

I’ve been to Florida twice, both times for cruises. One left out of Port Canaveral, the other out of Miami. That’s all the experience i have with Florida.

Pensacola is pretty much in Alabama

Yeah i just drove straight down 95 South when i went. All the way to Miami. It’s a long drive.

Is it about a 6 hr drive?

From where i live in SC to Miami took us about 12 hours. Google maps says almost 11, but we stopped for food and stuff along the way.

That’s a heck of a drive. I knew people who had their families drive from Boston to bring them a car. Must of took them forever.

Yeah it’s like when we drive to Michigan to visit my brother. That’s a 12 hour drive. We usually drive halfway and stop for the night though. I have driven it in one 12 hour shot though.
