im more optimistic about basketball than I used to be. anybody following college or pros?
both of the college teams I root for, Cincinnati and Indiana have decent teams, they may make the tournament but I don’t expect them to do much in the tournament. Cincinnati should have made the sweet 16 last year but blew a big lead in the 2nd round. anyways im entertained by duke and Tennessee. zion Williamson is fun to watch, needs to work on his shooting but is a good player.
the nba is getting better now that the warriors are the team to beat. team assists are up across the league. golden state leads the league in team assists per game again for like the 4th year in a row. good ball movement and shooting is what I like to watch. watched Philadelphia come back and win last night. j j Reddick is still going strong, he’s fun to watch, has a quick trigger and moves well off screens and without the ball. and if you check the team stats, you will see that james harden and the rockets are almost last in team assists per game. he’s really good but I don’t care for that style of play.
any hoops fans? enjoying the season? how is your team doing?
I think basketball is the best sport but im starting to prefer baseball. just as a fan and not a player I like how laid back the game is and I appreciate the subtleties of the game. in the meantime I will watch basketball when I have the time.
