I dunno… I don’t think it’s a feminist issue when there have been serious divides as illustrated in some religious texts dating back thousands of years.
But that’s just me.

How so? I do not know your pronouns. Using they is a sign of respect for your preference until you state it.
I think men versus women was popularized by the book that @Schztuna already mentioned Men Are from Mars and women are from Venus I don’t know if it’s a feminist narrative or if it was simply a popular narrative in the seventies
I believe it’s my fault I created this thread. It brings somewhat angry conversations
Maybe we need to end this thread?
Bell bottoms and Men are From Mars… What a time to be alive
We need to move forward away from pitting people against each other.
Men vs women is not a feminist idea.
The goal of feminism is to challenge the systemic inequalities women face on a daily basis . Feminism has nothing to do with belittling men. Feminism does not support sexism against either gender.
Feminism works towards equality, not female superiority.
I’m not angry. But if you want it closed instead of a discussion, it’ll be closed
That sounds good to me. I already thought i was a feminist.
Keep telling yourself that. Not everyone sees that same definition. That shouldn’t offend you. Feminists are not equal rights advicates in my opinion, they are bullies
What I think is funny is when people come at me for feminism.
I am very vocal about not allowing misogyny OR misandry
I don’t think asking to be able to vote, study, work, be an equal human being, not be raped…is pitting people against each other. It was rather the response, that made it necessary to fight. Rather than kindly ask.
Look, every movement has their asshats.
People focus on the differences but could we point out the similarities between the sexes?
That would be a better narrative and would encourage us to respect each other rather than encourage people to be seen as victims and channel the natural dislike they have for the other sex
Yeah I just haven’t witnessed feminism represent itself as hatred for men although I know that’s the stereotype
I think similarities across folks aren’t gender-bound.
It’s just people being people.
Never mind. Getting out of the discussion. It annoys me.
Same suffragettes who shamed mentally Ill people for not going to war?
I never said they were perfect people, did I? None of us are. All of us do a billion things wrong. But I am happy they fought for our vote. If you call that victim-mode or disliking the other sex you are clueless.
