yes, I believe I can go on now…I just told myself “no matter what” don’t smoke…day one and today were not that bad…it’s easier when you have a strong desire to not smoke…I don’t want to get copd or cancer not at all!!
Dont be so hard on yourself if you relapse it’s a hard habit to drop, especially for SZ patients.
I switched to vaping myself. It’s way cheaper and feels better.
Good on you though for wanting to quit and be healthy.
Congratulations man! Every day is a victory, give yourself credit for the little things and take it one day at a time, some days youll want to just give in, and if you do dont worry, every day is a new day. Proud of you, youre stronger than I am!
thank you everyone… @zwolfgang I know now after numerous short successes and failures that I’ve had smoking that I will always “want” a cigarette…once you accept that you are on your way to stopping.
Yeah Im struggling with that myself. At least I dont smoke anymore, I vape, but Id like to quit that too since I have asthma–probably not good that I do this to myself lol. Im currently going clean and sober from drugs and alcohol so that takes priority for me but when I have that solid Id like to kick the nicotine as well.
Best of luck to you man, glad you have some good insight, I have a feeling this time itll be different for you
aww dude…good going stopping the drugs and alcohol !! thank you.

Congratulations Jukie!!! Keep it up. Try researching remedies for cravings
Take it a day at a time. I always found people on tv smoking was a big trigger for me. Still. I stopped and it gets way easier. I go out and hang around smokers at functions because I’m talking and they are in specific areas and even the second hand smoke makes me not want too.
You can do this dude. One small step at a time.
