Hey everyone I have been lurking on the forum for like 1 year and was hesitant about being a member since Im not psychotic. Just had pscyhotic episodes due to depression and substance abuse. But other than that I found you guys really relatable than any other ‘normie’ than I talk to. I am introverted that lives in and values inner world more than outside maybe thats why. So Hey daydreamers!

How long ago did you have the psychosis and how long did it last May I ask?

Hey likewise. First one was 3 years ago and the second was one 1 year ago and they lasted for 6-12 months I guess. I get diagnosed as depression with psychotic features and anxiety and was on seroquel for 6 months along with ad. small dose tho 100 mg.

I’m diagnosed as psychosis with depression.
As in from when it happened I don’t hear voices atm. Depression is current though

Good morning! I’m kind of new here also. I was in a family trauma center for three days, but was still shocked they diagnosed me at that time with psychosis. Oh no! That was years ago.

hey @Mushroom. I have imaginary conversations with myself a lot, they are accompanied by painful rage/anguish. It’s not fun. I’m seeing my GP next Tues & will probably change back to Zyprexa. Also trialling the supplements on the home page here for schizophrenia.
I manage to work & have a social life. Though, I really enjoy time alone & just hanging out with my cat. How is your mental health these days, how are you going?
