Almost sounds “nasally” but in a good way. I think this is my favorite Beatles song
I like the Beatles more and more every day after thinking they were “overrated” for years.

Don’t let me down has such a beautiful melancholy to it. Great song!
The Beatles are amazing. I grew up listening to my Mother’s CDs. Eleanor Rigby, Taxman, Stayin Alive, and the soundtrack to Phantom of the Opera were the first songs ive ever remembered. My Mom loved the Beatles so I grew up loving the Beatles myself. They were truly amazing. Im a Quiet George person myself
That’s a good song. I’m going to go give it a listen in fact.
It’s hard to overrate the most popular, successful, groundbreaking band in history. But of course many, many, people think that they were overrated. Everybody has different tastes. The phenomana of Beatlemania was a bit extreme and many people thought the Beatles didn’t deserve all that attention but I think if you judge them by their music alone they deserve most of the accolades they got.
The craziness and enormity of Beatlemania probably made many think they were overrated. But something like Beatlemania will probably never occur again. The Beatles came along just at the right time when the world needed something like them to fill a void in the boredom and conformity of modern music at that time and in society itself.
Kids were aching and chomping at the bit for rebellion at the way their parents were living and running the world and the bands in the early sixties came along to shake things up and the bands images and attitudes about how things were and their messages about rebellion and change went beyond just the music world and permeated the larger society. The Beatles came along when they were needed most. OK, sorry about the sermon, I love talking about the Beatles.
Glad I could give you an opportunity to talk about them
