Losing control during panic attacks

My only symptoms happen during panic attacks.

Panic attacks are receding, like they started happening, then they became more frequent, and now they are receding in frequency. The last one happened once in the last three weeks.

I get voices only during panic attacks. The voices make me masturbate by controlling me sometimes.

Now, I worked with an AI therapist, I tried everything deep breathing, visual imagery, muscle relaxation, etc, etc…and nothing makes the panic attacks go away. They only go away after the voices make me masturbate.

Now, if I am able to avoid masturbating to the voices, it can go on and on, even 6-7 hours…like there is simply no way to stop it. I am trying various techniques, but nothing works.

Like there are heart palpitations, the arm shakes, I get more aware of my surroundings, and my attention improves drastically, like I notice the tiniest details in my surroundings. Then, with the heart palpitations, the voices start coming. The voices and heart palpitations form a loop. Because I don’t usually hear voices on medication, it is very distressing to hear the voices, which gives me heart palpitations. Like, psychosis comes back during panic attack, voices, mind control, etc…but I must say that panic attacks are receding, and only started happening after rapid Klonopin taper, which still gives me many different types of symptoms. Anyone has any idea what may help in this regard, if it is from Klonopin withdrawal?

Talk to your pdoc about your symptoms.

They might put u on an AD or prescribe u benzos, but it’s best to fully describe what your going through to your pdoc and see what they say.

Can you describe what happens when you dissociate?

I think something similar to dissociation may be happening to me as well.

Isn’t Klonopin for preventing panic attacks?

Yeah, my withdrawal was very fast for the duration and extent I took Klonopin.

I got tons of side effects which have lasted years after quitting.

The pdoc made a mistake by withdrawing too fast, he should have done a careful detox. Going back on again would be disastrous, as I have no sex drive on Klonopin.

Basically i get stressed over something.

Then it feels like i disconnect from my surroundings. Everythings slow i feel like im disoriented, my cognition drops off, just blankminded.
Then I my awareness of time or day seems to dissipate, like it feels im not sure what tine or day it is. Just completely spaced out.
It could last for hours or most of the day.

Its kinda like the brain shutting down as a defense mechanism.

If you get panic attacks then you have to take klonopin. Otherwise you get panic attacks. Klonopin is a treatment for panic attacks.

they are receding in intensity and quantity. Going back on Klonopin would defeat the purpose.

All my pdocs at Columbia University hospital were against taking Klonopin consistently, they didn’t like the idea, and even suggested to me that new research suggests that it could lead to Dementia/Alzheimer’s in the future.

I’ve had panic attacks before. They suck. I haven’t had them in years.
