I had addiction issues from Abilify since I started in 2010. I made over 2000 online transactions from eBay, Amazon and AliExpress. Many useless and unneeded things. That’s about 100 000$ in 10 years considering the average transaction amount is 50$, I actually think its actually higher too bcz I bought expensive computer components and screens, sound systems, etc
That’s not even counting purchases on Kijiji and Craigslist and other websites.
Where on Earth did you get the money to do all that?! I’m flat broke. Couldn’t do that at all

I was working full time 2 jobs 60h/week, one from Mon to Fri , the other Sat and Sun (This one was paid cash). I also put money in my bank since I was 14 y.o., I started working full time at 14 y.o. At the end (last year) I emptied my bank account and I was drawing cash from my Visa. I had debts which my parents paid for me. Now I cancelled my Visa and have a bad credit score, I got declined for another Visa card recently.
I see. Well if you’re good about your money, your credit score will go back up over time.

Theres a lot of people not on medication that do it. It is just a bad habit. I kind of used to do it, then one day I just started selling all my stuff on Ebay and I quit buying things that I don’t use. Its great once you realise how much money you save.

I am buying much less stuff now since stopping Abilify, I am only buying essential stuff and never order outside food.

Well Idk. There were some people on here diagnosed with sza. An ap and a mood stabilizer did nothing for their compulsive shopping.
My psychiatrist said its the Abilify that gave me addiction and hypersexuality issues bcz I wasn’t like that when not taking it. Anyways now no more addiction and hypersexuality issues on Risperdal but only negative symptoms. I would rather have negative symptoms.

I’ve spent a lot on Amazon this year because of the quarantine. I’ve definitely spent more than I needed to though.
I just looked at my order history on Amazon and it says my first purchase was The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera nearly 20 years ago on Oct. 14, 2001. Neat!
We didn’t have Amazon in Canada in 2001. eBay came out first. My first Amazon purchase is a book for college in 2010. I think Amazon Canada started in 2010. My first eBay purchase was in 2004, I was 14 y.o. lol

When I was on abilify I bought a lot of inexpensive items, I don’t make that much money, I remember there were lots of commercials about addictive behaviors of abilify.
