London to host its first Transgender Pride festival this year

But isn’t the point of the parades to further accept and tolerance?
Do we really want to alienate people by acting outrageous instead of showing them we’re just like them?

No one has to respect anyone’s beliefs, only respect the right to have them. I will never, ever respect any idiotic thing that is aimed at hurting anyone.

And besides, science solidly supports that there are major differences in gender, not just male and female. The trumps any socalled belief. No matter what anyo e believes, truth is truth.

At what point was I disrespectful? People only respect beliefs that fit their own agenda.

Acting outrageous is not exclusive to trans people. Some people whether trans or not are more extrovert than others. So long as they are not committing explicit sex acts in public, respect their right to express themselves.

How is that science, plus I can’t argue with someone who already has their mind made up.

Do you want me to go over your history of transphobic and homophobic comments here? You have a right to your opinions, but asking people to respect you for believing in discrimination against them is ridiculous. Some people think all schizophrenics should be sterilized. Would you respect that belief? Absolutely not, because it’s a dumb belief with no basis in fact. And so when you go on believing something dumb, with no basis in fact, people will tell you it’s dumb. If you continue to hold that opinion, that’s your business, but keep it far away from here. This site is run by LGBT people, so if you have a problem with us, keep your mouth shut.

I could say the same for you since you’re making assumptions about my.mind. But if you actually really want to learn about it, here is an article that explains how XX and XY isnt the whole story.

I’m not sure how you mean they should respect your beliefs. By hiding it? By keeping it out of your sight?
You’re still young and at that age where you think you have the wisdom of life, when in reality you don’t know half. Don’t be so quick to think your way of thinking is the right one.

You have a right to think lgbt-people aren’t right for some reason, but you don’t have a right to broadcast it or demand they stop their behaviour just because it makes you uncomfortable.

So now it’s discrimination, when all was I saying that everyone should respect and love everyone.

I do respect it, I just sometimes feel like flamboyancy is more about grabbing attention than expressing one’s true self, and that begging for attention tends to annoy me.
I feel like the flamboyants misrepresent us.

That’s a magazine.

Yes…National Geographic is a well respected science magazine for about a hundred years. Whats the problem?

It’s sad that what I meant as a positive thread has had some nasty comments. We all know the stigma that can be experienced as someone with SMI and yet some of us insist on adding to the stigma trans people experience .

You believe what you want, and I’ll believe what I want. I wasn’t forcing anything on anyone, just respect.

It’s a magazine, that’s the problem, it can be biased.

No one has to respect bigoted views. Welco me to 2019.

But you still haven’t said how excactly you expect people to respect your beliefs.

So now I’m a bigot for stating my beliefs
