Lithium orotate

Anyone tried this? I want to try it but I read that its illegal in Canada. Its legal in the US. Thats weird.

Its on Amazon US

Why do Canada and US have different laws about supplements?

There are some people who only do “natural” supplements who will tell you that this is better than prescription lithium. Except that prescription lithium is just a salt. It’s supposed to help, not just stabilize mood, but it can lift depression.

I’ve only tried prescription lithium. I felt horrible on it, so I’d never try lithium orotate.

Adding:
It’s being touted on the internet as everything from a mood booster to a memory aid to a supplement that sharpens function.

I have tried it. Yes some say it’s more bioavailable than regular lithium. I would say, I’m not really sure honestly, but I can say it didn’t have any negative side effects. I tried it when I was not taking regular lithium. It kind of feels gentler, and thus has less side effects (no regular blood work required). Worth researching if you’re considering it.
