Has anyone on here ever taken lithium?
If so can you give me a detailed description of the types of side effects you may have experienced.
Would you say that lithium is easier to tolerate than atypicals ?

That stuff makes me shake. REALLY shake. Trying to eat soup on lithium is an exercise in frustration. Maybe one spoon out of 20 makes it from the bowl to my mouth with soup left in it. I hate that crap.

Never. Zyprexa, Olanzapine, Geodon, and Rexulti have all worked much better for me, but perhaps they are better suited to my flavour of SZ. What works for one doesn’t necessarily work for others. Almost everyone on Zyprexa has experience explosive weight gain, including yours truly.

Thanks @shutterbug. I’ve got a long relationship with geodon, (much happier on latuda now). Never tried zyprexa because of the weight gain issue. Have heard it’s a great med otherwise though.
