I’m going off Latuda and I was wondering what worked for you? I talk to my pdoc Wednesday.
Zyprexa works the best for me. I also take abilify and rexulti but really Zyprexa does the best for me.
Now just because it works for me doesn’t mean it will work for you unfortunately.

I went off Zyprexa and went on Latuda. Latuda works way better than Zyprexa for me.
Abilify didn’t work at all for me. Haldol worked but had really bad side effects so I quit.

I take Saphris & Rexulti and since I’m sza I also take Topamax and Cymbalta
Why did you stop Latuda? I switched from Abilify to Zyprexa to Abilify to Latuda and now to Risperdal. My negative symptoms were best on Abilify but had to stop it due to it causing impulsivity and shopping addiction. I am on Risperdal 6mg now no positive symptoms at all, only issue is negative symptoms. I may try Strattera, Rexulti or Geodon to see if my negative symptoms become as good as on Abilify.
Did Rexulti cause weight gain?

For me Zyprexa was like a sugar pill literally, did nothing for my psychosis and shot up my blood glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure.
no, I haven’t gained any weight, but I am already overweight from previous aps that caused me to gain. I pretty much hold steady.

How’s your appetite on Rexulti, less or more vs other meds?

I sometimes have a big appetite, but that’s been my whole life. But a lot of the time I have zero appetite and have to make myself eat because I get shaky.

Yea I get that too when I dont eat carbs for a long time and only eat meat or vegetables.

I’m going to stay on Latuda for awhile longer and think about getting on clozaril.
