Hi peeps!
While I was listening to Pandora, this ad came up about SZ.
I was super-suprised, as this is the first time I’ve heard anything SZ-related on this app.
It was talking about once-monthly injections, specifically Invega Sustena, and I thought maybe it would be of interest for some of us:
Kind of nice hearing an ad representing us… Maybe those algorithms are working after all 
I think in Europe it is against the law to advertise medications.

I just remember someone on this forum saying that they couldn’t believe big pharma was allowed to advertise in the states.

Yea, it’s kinda wild that the States advertises meds.
I suppose in some ways it helps with the stigma-- a commercial for Caplyta, for example, keeps popping up when I watch TV… Kinda normalizes SZ by bringing into the household.
I get ads on Hulu for AP meds for schizophrenia.
I haven’t watched in awhile, but I think it also might have been for invega sustena.
It made me wonder if everyone was seeing it or I was targeted based on my internet activity. 
I have seen several commercials for sz or td mentioning sz meds on the tv.
