Positive:
-
"Sounds" that I can sense (including a “voice” that I can sense)
-
A voice that I can hear in my mind
-
A voice that I can hear in real sounds (like in the sound of chewing food)
-
Auditory hallucinations (including voices that are like real sounds, which are rare)
-
Auditory “vibes” (a sound effect; rare; my schizophrenia can add a certain “vibe” to real sounds, for example it can make music sound like death)
-
Auditory vibes for sounds in my mind (rare; my schizophrenia can add a certain “vibe” to the voices, to make them sound especially threatening, superior, etc)
-
Mental images
-
Visual hallucinations (have seen only a few times)
-
Visual vibes for objects (a visual effect; my schizophrenia can make an object look especially terrifying, horrible, etc)
-
Visual vibes for mental images (my schizophrenia can add a certain “vibe” to a mental image, to make it express a situation, emotion, etc; I’ve seen grinning aliens that look especially ‘mocking’, a scientist with a profound visual vibe of ‘intelligence’ added to it, and others)
-
Visual vibes for me (my schizophrenia can apply a “vibe” to my entire visual field, expressing an emotion or situation, like ‘worried’, ‘terrified’, etc)
-
Visual vibes for an imaginary person inside me (same as previous, except it seems/feels like it is meant for another person inside me; it can be ‘disappointed’, ‘cruel’, etc. Maybe it’s meant to show that imaginary person’s attitude towards me)
-
Fake focus (a visual effect)
-
Lucid dream like reality (happened once)
-
Nonvivid perception of the world (One of the earliest symptoms. Initially I didn’t realize I had that (possibly had it for a long time). I only noticed it once it, along with some other symtoms, suddenly disappeared and then a few seconds later reappeared again. This happened a few times.)
-
Disturbed breathing (same as previous)
-
Being mentally burdened or blocked by something (same as previous)
-
Olfactory hallucination (happened once - I felt an intense smell of ‘enemy’)
-
Olfactory/gustatory vibes (has happened a few times; my schizophrenia can make food taste or smell like death)
-
Dreams produced by my schizophrenia
-
Sleep induced by my schizophrenia (theoretical; sometimes I seem to fall asleep for just a few seconds, apparently to see a dream, and then wake up; often happens repeatedly)
-
A feeling of my body being controlled by something else (happened in 2017)
-
Strange (sometimes also intelligent) behavior (my schizophrenia makes my body do things I’d never do. I also have new reflexes, and sometimes my speech has been unlike my own)
-
Fake will (it feels like I wanted to do something, or did something, but actually I didn’t)
-
Fake beliefs (it can make me believe in strange things; quite rare)
-
Fake memory (rare - only one certain fake memory, 2 possible fake memories)
-
Fake conscience (it has a distinct feeling to it, and it says whether I would do something (normally bad thing) or not. For example, one time it claimed that I consented to torturing someone, and felt like it too)
-
Inserted thoughts and concepts (they can be smarter than me, and there is a whole variety of different ones by their feeling and type)
-
Alien feelings (feelings I’ve never felt before schizophrenia came; examples: an unbearable feeling of pure torment, bad beauty, various fake feelings, etc)
-
Crying controlled by my schizophrenia (not randomly; my schizophrenia can make me cry at will; often when it happens the voice will tell something like “We’re going to make you cry now”)
-
Laughing/smiling/grinning controlled by my schizophrenia (same as previous)
Negative:
-
Anhedonia (no motivation, no anticipatory pleasure (wanting), no consummatory pleasure (liking))
-
Musical anhedonia
-
No pleasant taste (occasional; my schizophrenia can apparently remove it whenever it decides to)
-
No emotions or feelings (except for pain, the senses, and alien feelings)
-
Blank mind (no thoughts at all, except for the occasional inserted/fake thoughts)
-
No will (I’m unable to move my body, I’m unable to want anything (I can’t even want the unpleasant feelings to go away when they come))
-
Inability to understand things (like speech or text; occasional; my schizophrenia can turn this on/off whenever it decides to)
-
Troubles with learning and reading - (Existed alongside with symptoms number 16, 17 and 18. This one was one of the earliest obvious symptoms, becoming obvious in a strange way - I didn’t realize I had that problem (possibly had it for a long time). I only noticed it once that problem, along with some other symtoms, suddenly disappeared and then a few seconds later reappeared. This happened a few times.)
Not sure if positive or negative:
-
My body appears to move on its own (not a belief or feeling, but a lack of feeling of intentional movement)
-
Electronic devices apparently being controlled by a mysterious force/cause (happened in 2017; possible causes: coincidences, hallucinations, fake memories, or paranormal. Year 2017 has been wiped away from my memory, I only know about this from my notes. I wrote in my notes “apparently”, which is why I did not include ‘delusional belief’ in the possible causes)
-
Other people apparently being controlled by a mysterious force/cause (happened in 2017, and later; possible causes: coincidences, hallucinations, fake memories, extrasensory perception, or paranormal control.)
-
Apparent cases of extrasensory perception (possible causes: coincidences, extrasensory perception, or paranormal control).
Neither:
-
Intelligently controlled symptoms (one example - in the hospital I was tortured with an unbearable feeling, unless I was walking, or “on some important business” (like eating, going to the bathroom, or talking to the doctor). My schizophrenia intelligently recognized what I was doing, and applied or removed/reduced the torture accordingly.)
-
Causal connections between symptoms (I have at least 5 different symptoms controlled/coordinated by 1 thing; examples: voice knowing in advance and telling me what my body is about to do, voice knowing in advance and telling me what I’m going to see in a dream, etc)
-
My schizophrenia has a different type of memory available to it, than the long-term memory of my brain
-
Resistance to antipsychotics (7 different ones, and clozapine could not be used) and electroconvulsive therapy
