Learning sign language

Could learning sign language help with schizophrenia. I mean sign language is great for better communication skills and it might even help socialize.

I’d really love to learn some more sign language all I can do is spell and say thank you

But I go mute sometimes so I think it would help me.

Plus I have an alter who is completely mute so it might help them too.

But idk where to start.

I also think sign language helps you keep in touch with the reality, instead of the illusions we think about.

I’d love to learn sign language. And other languages as well. But I can’t do it all at once it’s too confusing. So I’m just working on Japanese for right now.

When I was working in the group homes I used to know enough ASL to get by, but I don’t know much anymore. Maybe 50 signs. And even then only because that’s what my daughter signs.
