I’m only taking the lowest possible dose of Lamictal and my depression has disappeared!
I can’t tolerate doses above 25mg but even at this low dose it’s keeping my depression at bay.
Anyone else on Lamictal? (lamotrigine)
Great med for bipolar depression for sure.
Absolutely a wonderful med for me. It helped pull me out of some very dark places.

I am on Lamictal. Good medication. It tends to even out the mood. I don’t exactly know how it is affecting me, but I feel it is for the better.
Know what I am thinking? I am also Bipolar rather than schizoaffective.
Have you already to stop Antipsychotics ? Me when i tried to stop Antipsychotics i did psychosis = hypersensibility dopaminergic.
No, they are taken with Bipolar also. I have no side effects from them and no intention of stopping them soon.
My Gal takes 300mg of it . Its does pretty well for her as well for her bi polar stuff.
I used to take Lamictal and liked it but eventually developed a rash.
My psychiatrist told me I have bipolar w/ psychotic features instead of sz. Thing is that bipolar/sza get treated the same anyways, so p much same meds XD

Bipolar with psychotic features and SZA bipolar type are very similar and the treatment is the same.
I’m on lamotrigine 200 mg. I don’t notice any effects.

Both my best friend and I are Sza, bipolar type. Mood stabilizers of any kind have never worked on either one of us and we’ve been on them all.
We are now each of us on AP’s and AD’s. Her on Abilify and Wellbutrin; and I on Risperdal, Seroquel, Geodon and Celexa. Her mood goes up and down all the time. I am stable as a rock. So go figure.

I’m on 200mg lamictal and it does help with my depression yes. And no side effects either. Great med
