my pdoc wants to start me on it to go with my clozaril and seroquel to try and stop the voices. what is your experience with it? and what are you taking it with?
I take it. I love it. You gotta be careful about a rash.
I take 6mg vraylar
300 mg lamotrigine
120 mg cymbalta
It helps with my mood swings and gives me energy. But I noticed I eat more on it.
@ insidemind by giving you energy is it a anxious energy? i suffer from very bad anxiety i even stay away from caffeine.
I don’t think so. I’m not anxious besides the energy drink thing. I actually have less anxiety because I stopped my buspar.
I have taken it for many years. It wouldn’t be good on it’s own but I’ve found in conjunction with other meds it works well
I take 100 mg along with 10 mg Zyprexa and 10 mg Lexapro. I’m sza depressive and it’s an integral part of my med cocktail. My pdoc decreased my dose to 75 mg a couple of years ago and I almost immediately noticed. Lamotrigine takes care of my mood swings very well.
I take 200mg Lamictal for deja vu
Lamictal made me very anxious and hypomanic.
I had to come off of it.
Sza depressive here, 100mg, really helps my depression swings. I get them less often and less severe. Never noticed any side effects. It’s been a good drug for me
I take it with my Vraylar and Zoloft. It controls my hypomania and depression mood swings. I don’t have any complaints about it.
I am sza bipolar type and i take Lamictal 150mg. I also take Latuda and a very small dose of sertraline. The Lamictal does a good job of keeping my moods mostly stable.
I take 300 mg. I guess that’s a high dose?
I’m sz but have been on Lamictal 200 mg for years and have had virtually no side effects. It doesn’t help me a lot because I’m sz so my doc isn’t sure I need it. But never had any side effects with that one, just have to make sure you don’t miss any more than 2 days otherwise you could develop a life-threatening rash, and make sure to follow titration instructions.
